According to the present invention there is provided a method of processing rice oil comprising the steps of, removing one or more phosphorus compounds from the rice oil (degumming) heating the rice oil to a temperature of between 200°C- 260°C applying a pressure of between 0,1 - 1 kgf/cm2 to the rice oil (distilling) extracting a by-product from the rice oil.La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement dhuile de riz comprenant les étapes consistant à retirer un ou plusieurs composés phosphoreux de lhuile de riz (démucilagination) chauffer lhuile de riz à une température comprise entre 200 °C et 260 °C appliquer une pression comprise entre 0,1-1 kgf/cm2 à lhuile de riz (distillation) extraire un sous-produit à partir de lhuile de riz.
