PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening type disposable diaper which more effectively prevents a leakage to the back.
SOLUTION: In providing a back side barrier belt 20 which extends along the width direction over almost the same width direction range as a top sheet 30 on an innermost side in a back side end flap part BE, a width direction both end part 22e in the extension part 22 of the back side barrier belt 20 is fixed to the back side end flap part BE so that it is not separated, in a two-folded state having a base end side part 23 extending to the center part side in the transverse direction from an edge on the side of a root part 21 and a tip side part 24 which is folded back on the body side from the edge of the center side in the transverse direction of the base end side part 23 and extends close to the upper edge of the back side end flap part BE, while a width direction middle part 22c is a non-fixed free part so that it can be separated from the back side end flap part BE, and an elastic expansion/contraction member 25 is fixed to the tip part in the free part 22c in a state expanded along the width direction.
