A processed potato is fixed to a carrier of a lead-screw and after the drive of the lead-screw is switched-on, the processed potato starts to perform rotary and at the same time forward motion. After the potato is forced to a blade of a disk the processed potato is cut and the cut part is threaded through a hole of the disk at the blade. The prepared potato is taken up from the opposite side of the disk to a thorn. The prepared potato has got a screw shape with optional direction of rotation and with at least one spiral worm, where the thickness of the screw wall is from 2 mm to 12 mm. Device for producing of the potato product comprises of an U-shaped frame (1) onto which a leading nut (3) is fastened, inside of which is placed the lead-screw (2), wherein the free end of the lead-screw (2) is more remote from the disk (6). The frame is equipped with a drive (4), the second end of the lead-screw (2) is equipped with a carrier (5) for fastening or upholding of a processed potato to the lead-screw (2) and to enable performing rotary and forward motion. The frame (1) is fastened to the disk (6) in which a hole (7) is made having a cutting blade (8), where the blade (8) with the hole (7) is arranged radially from the center to the circumference of the disk (6).
