PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope that is capable of changing the viewing field direction during imaging in a wider range without causing an increase in apparatus size, and facilitates assembly of a drive mechanism for advancing and retracting for the turning movement of an imaging unit.SOLUTION: The endoscope includes: a plurality of recesses formed on surfaces of an imaging holder and a relaying holder and a plurality of U-shapes formed at a pair of driving rods.
