A baler (10) comprising a bale chamber (26)； a plunger (30) to compress crop material in said bale chamber (26) to form a bale； a plurality of knotters (34)； a needle yoke (42) with a plurality of needles (36) to deliver a plurality of lower strands through said bale chamber (26) to said plurality of knotters (34)； a tucker arm shaft (190) carrying a plurality of tucker arms (195) to deliver a plurality of upper strands to said plurality of knotters (34)； a driving shaft (90) located above the bale chamber (26) and extending in a traverse direction of the baler (10)； wherein the tucker arm shaft (190) extends parallel to the driving shaft (90)； a tucker arm (195) coupling device to convert the rotation of the driving shaft (90) into a rotation of the tucker arm shaft (190)； a needle coupling device (100) to convert a rotation of the driving shaft (90) into a movement of the needle yoke (42) from a rest position to a twine delivery position and back.
