The machinery is coupled to a vehicle (5) from where it is actuated, the cab (6) of which vehicle includes the device (7) which is connected to a microphone (8) installed on the exterior of the cab (6) in order to capture the sounds produced by the machinery during operation, said sounds being analysed in the device (7) which preferably houses the digital fingerprint of the sound produced when a part of the machinery breaks, such that if the sound captured matches that of the stored fingerprint, the device generates an operator warning signal that warns the user that the part is broken by means of an indicator device (13). The digital fingerprint of the breakage is obtained by testing the part until it breaks and capturing the sound produced. The invention also stores the digital fingerprint of the sound prior to the part breaking in order to provide a warning that the breakage is going to occur.
