PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food material loosening member capable of enhancing stirring performance of a food material by the food material loosening member.SOLUTION: In a rack 20 for food material loosening accommodated in a drum 3 constituting a food material stirring device, a plurality of lattice part 20i arranged in each predetermined interval along a longer direction of the rack are arranged with zigzag shape along with the longer direction of the rack. Thereby during a stirring operation of the food material, rice mass is hooked on a surface of the rack without easily moving along the surface of the rack (an inclination direction), passed through a frame of the rack (an arrangement area of the lattice part) and dropped out, and the rice mass can be loosened satisfactorily.
