PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper in which a so-called rubber omission is prevented and enough retractility can be secured for a side panel, and that is excellent in the fitting or the wearing feeling to the girth and around the leg.SOLUTION: The disposable diaper includes: an absorbent body 2 including an absorber and a side panel 3. The side panel 3 includes: two sheets 31 and 32 two or more elastic members 33 that are fixed by an extending condition in a diaper width direction between the two sheets, and in which stopping/adhering materials 4 are disposed at the distal end sides. The side panel 3 includes: two or more bonding areas where adhesive is distributed consecutively in a diaper longitudinal direction between sheets 31 and 32 bonding areas 35 and 36 of the body side and the distal end side fixing the end portion or the neighborhood of the elastic members 33 as the bonding areas and one or two or more non-bonding areas 38 and 38 in which adhesive is not distributed in an intermediate area 37 which the both bonding areas 35 and 36 sandwich. The bonding areas 35 and 36 of the body side and the distal end side have different widths.
