The present invention relates to a synergistic herbal composition for the treatment of cough like Khansi, Tonsilitis, Bronchitis, Cold & Cough, Hoarseness, Thyroid. More particularly, the present invention relates to the herbal composition for treatment of cough which is prepared by grinding and mixing of Awala, Basil, Betel, Banslochan (tabasheer), Malabar Nut (Basak patta), Licorice (Mulethi) etc roasted in sunrays and Alum, Ajwaaine, Aniseed, Buck wheat (Methy), Black pepper etc roasted in oven and Pipermint and Sugar candy and Rock Salt.Moreover this invention also relates to the process of preparing the above herbal composition.
