PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing cockroach odor in which the characteristic odor emitted by a cockroach can be easily and effectively suppressed and to provide a cockroach odor suppressing agent.SOLUTION: The method for suppressing cockroach odor according to the present invention volatilize at least 1 kind of peppermint oil, lemon oil, lavender oil and eucalyptus oil in a space where the odor of a cockroaches is emitted.
