A method and device for measuring an oral orthodontic force. The method comprises: manufacturing an oral model comprising a tooth, a periodontal membrane (11), and an alveolar bone (12), wherein the alveolar bone (12) of a tooth to be measured is isolated from the alveolar bone (12) of other teeth nearby in the oral model installing, on the oral model, an orthodontic appliance (21) used for orthodontic treatment fixedly connecting a sensor (23) to the alveolar bone (12) of the tooth to be measured and measuring an oral orthodontic force/moment. Since the oral model comprises the tooth, periodontal membrane (11), and alveolar bone (12) tissues, and the sensor (23) is fixedly connected to the alveolar bone (12), the measurement takes into account biomechanical effects of the periodontal membrane (11) on the orthodontic force during orthodontic treatment. The method of the invention measures an orthodontic force and moment delivered through the periodontal membrane (11) between the tooth and the alveolar bone (12), hence resulting in a more precise measurement.La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de mesure dune force orthodontique buccale. Le procédé consiste à : fabriquer un modèle buccal comprenant une dent, une membrane parodontale (11), et un os alvéolaire (12), ledit os alvéolaire (12) dune dent à mesurer étant isolé de los alvéolaire (12) dautres dents à proximité dans le modèle buccal installer, sur le modèle buccal, un appareil orthodontique (21) utilisé pour le traitement orthodontique relier à demeure un capteur (23) à los alvéolaire (12) de la dent à mesurer et mesurer une force/moment orthodontique buccal(e).
