PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root harvester in which a space on a traveling machine body is effectively utilized, and thereby a machine body width is compactly configured while the sorting operation by an auxiliary worker can satisfactorily be performed.SOLUTION: A root harvester includes an extraction conveying device 2, a storage device 6, and a relay conveying device 5. The relay conveying device 5 includes a sideways conveyor 50 having a conveyance surface for mounting and conveying crops on a top side and capable of conveying the crops to the opposite side from the one side in the horizontal direction. The storage device 6 is disposed in a machine body inward side place in the horizontal direction from a conveyance end position of the sideways conveyor 50.
