Apparatus for limiting the pressure of the fluid in the holding cartridge of the medical catheter, intended for use with a source of pressurized fluid having a connected connector, the catheter having a path for supplying fluid from the apparatus for refueling the can and a fluid return path communicating with a canister connected to the apparatus, the apparatus includes: a housing with an inlet port for a fluid into which a connector is inserted, connected to a source under leniem fluid and an outlet port for the fluid, a first flow chamber connecting an inlet port for the fluid and an outlet port for the fluid in the housing； a second flow chamber connected to the fluid return path； and means for blocking the flow of fluid through the first flow chamber when the pressure of the fluid in the second flow chamber exceeds a predetermined level. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the means for blocking the fluid flow comprises movable means for separating the second flow chamber into a first portion connected to the return path of the fluid, and a second portion, this movable means being able to move between the first position in which the flow the fluid through the first flow chamber is not blocked, and the second position, in which the flow of fluid through the first flow chamber is blocked, and this movable means moves from the first position in the second position in response to the excess pressure of the fluid in the first section of the second flow chamber1.
