PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subject body information acquisition device provided with a light shielding member such that a subject or an operator does not look at illumination light directly, having high easiness in manual technique, and having a small occupying area of the device.SOLUTION: A subject body information acquisition device includes: a measurement unit having a subject body-holding part holding a subject body of a subject, an illumination part irradiating the subject body with light, and a signal conversion part receiving an elastic wave generated in the subject body and converting it into an electric signal a bed supporting the subject a light shielding member covering the measurement unit and having a first opening and a measurement unit support part capable of moving the measurement unit relatively to the bed.
