A shoulder brace uses an adjustable outer cuff for engagingan arm of a user and providing a lifting force. This forceis redistributed to a body portion of the brace in a mannerto reduce arm and shoulder strain that can be associated witharm or shoulder repetitive movement. The brace is particularlyhelpful for long periods of exposure to playing of musicalinstruments such as a guitar but is useful for otherapplications.
