PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply obtain accurate cross-sectional information of a subject in calculating an optimal tube current value in an X-ray CT apparatus.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes: a top plate control means 10 for controlling a top plate to place the subject on at any height a projected image calculation part 32 that calculates the cross-sectional information of the subject using a projection that sees through the subject via an X-ray from a direction parallel to a height direction of the top plate a projected image correction part 33 that obtains a corrected cross-sectional information based on the height information of the top plate obtained from the top plate control means and the cross-sectional information of the subject obtained by the cross-sectional information calculation part when the subject is placed and a tube current adjustment part 34 that makes adjustment so that the radiation level of the X-ray is suitable for the X-ray CT imaging of the subject based on the corrected cross-sectional information obtained by the corrected cross-sectional information calculation part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】X線CT装置において最適な管電流値を算出する際に、簡便に被検体の正確な断面情報を得る。【解決手段】X線CT装置は、被検体を載置する天板を所望の高さに制御する天板制御手段10と、天板の高さ方向と平行な方向から被検体をX線で透視したプロジェクションを用いて被検体の断面情報を計算する投影像算出部32と、被検体を載置した際に天板制御手段から得られる天板の高さ情報と断面情報計算部により得られる被検体の断面情報とに基づき、補正された断面情報を求める投影像補正部33と、補正断面情報計算部により求められた補正された断面情報に基づいて被検体のX線CT撮影に適したX線の照射量に調整する管電流調整部34とを備える。【選択図】図1
