PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel ablation device and a blood vessel ablation method excellent in workability of blood vessel harvesting.SOLUTION: A blood vessel ablation device 100J includes a movable part 300J including a tubular movable part body 310 having a slit 311 for connecting the two ends in an axial direction, and a slide part 340 for opening/closing the slit 311. The movable part 300J is arranged around a blood vessel, and moved along the blood vessel so that the blood vessel is ablated in a state of being covered with tissues positioned in the surrounding.
