The present invention relates to a palm rest for a reel seat, which supports the palm between a reel and the reel seat attaching the reel to a sieve of a fishing rod. The palm rest for the reel seat comprises a hollow body, wherein the hollow body has a hollow portion extending toward the reel and extending toward a butt of the fishing rod, a bottom wall portion surrounding the hollow portion, and a supporting wall portion. The bottom wall portion is joined to the reel seat so that at least a part of the hollow portion is positioned on the upper direction of the reel seat and the support wall portion is formed extending from the bottom wall portion to support the palm.
