PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for culturing Schistostega osmundacea, by which Schistostega osmundacea protonemata weak to change in environment can be efficiently proliferated in a large amount.SOLUTION: This method for culturing the Schistostega osmundacea includes a protonema proliferation process for culturing Schistostega osmundacea gametophore washed with water in an oligotrophic culture medium to proliferate the Schistostega osmundacea protonemata grown from the gametophore. The method for culturing the Schistostega osmundacea may comprise performing the culture in the culture medium including a stationary oligotrophic agar culture medium, cutting the obtained Schistostega osmundacea protonema, adding the cut Schistostega osmundacea protonemata to another oligotrophic inorganic salt liquid culture medium and then proliferating the protonema under the irradiation with light at 15 to 22°C.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】環境の変化に弱いヒカリゴケの原糸体を効率良く大量に増殖できる、簡便なヒカリゴケ培養方法を提供する。【解決手段】水洗したヒカリゴケ茎葉体を貧栄養な培地で培養することにより、該茎葉体から生じるヒカリゴケ原糸体を増殖させる原糸体増殖工程が含まれている。静置された貧栄養の無機塩寒天培地の前記培地で前記培養することにより、生じた前記ヒカリゴケ原糸体を裁断して、貧栄養の無機塩液体の別な培地に加え、光照射下、15~22℃で、前記増殖させるものであってもよい。
