PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable manufacturing method of confectionery as an iron supplement which tastes good, easily achieves a proper amount of supplementation of iron, and has a new texture.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of grain-shaped confectionery as an iron supplement includes the following steps. A first powder is adhered to a grain-shaped dry fruit with a decomposition liquid of starch so as to form a first adhesion layer 1. A second powder is adhered to form a second adhesion layer 2. A third powder is adhered with a syrup so as to form a third adhesion layer 3. A fourth powder is adhered with a syrup so as to form a fourth adhesion layer 4. After roasting, that is coated with chocolate to form a chocolate layer 5. An iron-containing salt and folic acid are added to at least one of the second powder and the fourth powder. Between the first powder coating step and the second powder coating step, the dry fruit is subjected to dehydration treatment.
