PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for scraping an end face of a laver bundle capable of, firstly, reducing time, labor and manual operation required for removing laver wastes to a large extent by introducing devices and automation to provide effects excellent in terms of efficiency and cost and, secondly, surely cutting and removing the laver wastes.SOLUTION: The device 1 for scraping an end face is used at a step of producing laver B to cut and remove laver wastes C remaining at and stuck to side end faces of a laver bundle A obtained by superimposing and bundling plural sheets of the laver B and supply it to a next folding device D; the device includes a supply conveyor 2 and cutting means 3; the supply conveyor 2 conveys the laver bundle A mounted thereon one by one; the cutting means 3 comprises a rotary round blade 4 including a scraping blade on its outer periphery and is disposed in a side position of the supply conveyor 2 to scrape the laver wastes C remaining at and stuck to the side end faces of the conveyed laver bundle A; further, aligning means 5, an upper conveyor 6 and pressing means 7 are used in combination in the device 1 for scraping an end face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】第1に、装置化,自動化により、海苔屑除去に要する時間,労力,人手が大幅に削減され、効率面やコスト面に優れると共に、第2に、海苔屑を確実に切削除去可能な、海苔束の端面削り装置を提案する。【解決手段】この端面削り装置1は、海苔Bの生産工程で使用され、複数枚の海苔Bを重ねて束ねた海苔束Aの側端面について、残存付着していた海苔屑Cを切削除去して、次の折曲装置Dへと供給する。そして、供給コンベア2と切削手段3を有している。供給コンベア2は、海苔束Aを1束ずつ載せて搬送する。切削手段3は、外周に削り刃を備えた回転丸刃4よりなり、供給コンベア2の側位置に配設され、搬送される海苔束Aの側端面について、残存付着していた海苔屑Cを削り取る。更にこの端面削り装置1では、整列手段5,上コンベア6,押え手段7等も、組み合わせて用いられる。【選択図】図1
