PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly diagnose the lesion by highly precisely correcting an acquired fluorescence image.
SOLUTION: The fluorescence observing apparatus 1 comprises: an excitation light emission end 10 for emitting diffusing excitation light L1 to an observation object part X a fluorescence detection part 21 for detecting fluorescence generated from each position of the observation object part X by irradiation with the excitation light L1 from the excitation light emission end 10 a distance detection part for detecting a distance between the excitation light emission end 10 and each position of the observation object part X an angle calculation part 26 for calculating an angle formed by a straight line connecting the excitation light emission end 10 and each position of the observation object part X and a normal at each position of the observation object part X on the basis of the distance detected by the distance detection part and a correction part 27 for correcting the luminance information of the fluorescence detected by the fluorescence detection part 21 on the basis of the distance detected by the distance detection part and the angle calculated by the angle calculation part 26.
