PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bait log 1 to which a live bait is easily attached and detached and in which an attached live bait is not easily deviated from the original position and is not easily damaged.SOLUTION: A bait log 1 includes: a body 2 a flat portion 13 provided on the upper surface of the body 2 along the lengthwise direction and configured to attach a raw fish 12 as a live bait sidewall portions 16 formed on both sides of the flat portion 13 and a head cover 15 provided at the front end part of the flat portion 13 and on the front upper surface of the body.
