Epiphyte cultivation - has structure of bark sections with inner tubes and branch lines to give local environment zones for separate epiphyte(s) NoAbstract
To set the growing conditions for the cultivation and propagation of epiphytes, a synthetic support structure which is similar to a natural body is provided for the colonies. An environment zone is developed locally, for each colony to give its required environment conditions. Assembly of bark sections (6) in a tree and/or branch structure (1,2,3), contain inner tubing (4) with branch tubes (7) to the separate support sections for the epiphytes, with openings to the ambient atmos.. Hose lines (8) in the tubular chanels (4) and branch lines (7) deliver humidity and water through the openings to develop and maintain a local environment for the separate epiphytes. USE/ADVANTAGE - Method gives cultivation, growth and propagation of epiphytes simply and with low loss, within a room atmos..
