A storage container for medication and medical items includes a first section defining a first cavity to receive a first portion of the medication and medical items； a second section defining a second cavity to receive a second portion of the medication and medical items； at least one tray positioned in at least one of the first section and the second section configured to hold the respective medication and medical items； and at least one educational information card positioned in at least one of the first section and the second section. The educational information card includes information pertaining to the medication and how to use the medical items held in the at least one tray.
