The present invention relates to an optical characteristic calibration method for a computing terminal device, and an optical diagnosis inspection assistance apparatus. The disclosed optical characteristic calibration method is an optical characteristic calibration method which adjusts optical characteristics of the computing terminal device, wherein the computing terminal device analyzes an image of a diagnosis kit acquired by a camera and provides an image reading result for an inspection using the analysis kit, comprising: acquiring an image of a quality management kit mounted on an optical diagnosis inspection assistance apparatus coupled with the computing terminal device to be separated therefrom, using light emitted from a light source installed in the optical diagnosis inspection assistance apparatus; extracting an area of interest from the image of the quality management kit; acquiring quality management reference information on light intensity of the extracted area of interest; and generating and storing a calibration value to convert the light intensity of the area of interest to a value matched with a quality management reference according to the quality management reference information by compensating for the optical characteristics due to an optical system of the camera and the optical diagnosis inspection assistance apparatus.
