PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid powdery cosmetic that is well transferable to a small utensil and well spreadable on the skin, causes no stiff feeling after application, gives an appropriate moisture-retaining feeling, and has excellent makeup durability without color transfer.
SOLUTION: The solid powdery cosmetic applied using water comprises the following components (a)-(d): (a) 10-95 wt.% of a hydrophobically treated powder (b) 0.1-10 wt.% of a silicone-modified acrylic polymer (c) 1-10 wt.% of a flexible spherical composite powder having an average particle size of 1.0-20 &mum and (d) 0.01-2 wt.% of a surfactant having an HLB of 10 or lower.
