A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating Mycobacterium sp. bacterial infection or a symptom associated therewith comprising a compound comprising a peptide of chemical formula 1, an isomer thereof, a derivative, a solvate, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and method using the same are provided.
