The recording chip may be configured to record identification information of the electronic cigarette atomizer, send said identification information of the electronic cigarette atomizer to an electronic cigarette controller, record operating information of the electronic cigarette atomizer, said operating information comprising service life and number of uses of the core of the atomizer, and send said operating information to the electronic cigarette controller. The identification information of the electronic cigarette atomizer may include identification information of an aromatic liquid and identification information of a core of the atomizer. In another embodiment, an electronic cigarette is provided. In yet another embodiment a method for controlling an atomizer of electronic cigarette is provided.
