Water-based coating composition for treating woody base material, method for producing paint-treated woody base material using the same, and paint-treated woody base material obtained thereby
<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water borne coating composition for treating wood-based substrates, to provide a method for producing coated wood-based substrates using the same, and to provide a coated wood-based substrate obtained therewith. <；P>；SOLUTION: This water borne coating composition for treating the wood-based substrates comprises a cohydrolytic condensation product of an organic silicon compound with an amino group-containing alkoxysilane, a boron-containing compound and/or a phosphorus-containing compound, a water-soluble organic solvent and water, and preferably furthermore an aliphatic quaternary ammonium compound. The treatment of a wood-based substrate with the water borne coating composition enables the increase in adhesion stability between the surface of the wood-based substrate and the coating, the elongation of the lives of coating films, the maintenance of beautiful appearances, and further the addition of good dimensional stability, antiseptic property, and terminate repellency. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
