PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an osteosynthesis plate holder performing an assist so as to facilitate plate installation work of an osteosynthesis plate to the bone surface of a fracture region.SOLUTION: A block body 16 of this bone osteosynthesis plate holder 14 has a height larger than the thickness of an incised muscular tissue 15. The lower face of the block body 16 is formed with a plurality of projecting parts 27, 28 for plate positioning, and the osteosynthesis plate 13 is positioned by the projecting parts 27, 28. A plate connection means 33 is provided from the upper face of the block body 16 to the lower face thereof, and the osteosynthesis plate 13 positioned in the lower face of the block body 16 is performed with a connection operation and a connection release operation on the upper face side of the block body 16 by the plate connection means 33.
