PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method using a short femoral nail for a femoral neck fracture, which has a drawback that the fractured portion is easily displaced during and after a fixation operation. In addition, there was no way to fix and maintain the position of the nail, especially the proximal part (around the lug screw hole of the nail) at the intended position. SOLUTION: An opening structure is provided within 5 cm around the lug screw hole in order to fix the femur distal to the fracture and the periphery of the lug screw hole of the nail with a screw or temporarily fix it with Kirschner steel wire or the like. .. Compared with conventional fixtures, the fractured part can be less likely to shift during and after fixation surgery.
