A PCM-based heat exchanger is disclosed, said phase change material (PCM)-based heat exchanger comprising: a) a case having insulated walls comprising an inlet and an outlet； and b) a plurality of modules comprising a support structure containing a phase change material, wherein said modules are arranged within said case in a way as to define a fluidic path connecting said inlet with said outlet. Another object relates to an apparatus, wherein said apparatus is an incubator, such as an infant incubator or a chicken/eggs incubator, or a glove box, characterized in that it comprises the PCM-based heat exchanger operatively connected with a hood defining an insulating compartment, a fan adapted for injecting an air flow into said PCM-based heat exchanger and a system to regulate the air temperature inside the hood.La présente invention concerne un échangeur de chaleur à base de MCP, ledit échangeur de chaleur à base de matériau à changement de phase (MCP) comprenant : a) un boîtier ayant des parois isolées comprenant une entrée et une sortie ； et b) une pluralité de modules comprenant une structure de support contenant un matériau à changement de phase, lesdits modules étant agencés à l'intérieur dudit boîtier de manière à définir un trajet fluidique raccordant ladite entrée à ladite sortie. Un autre objet concerne un appareil, ledit appareil étant un incubateur, tel qu'une couveuse pour nourrisson ou un incubateur de poulet/œufs, ou une boîte à gants, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend l'échangeur de chaleur à base de MCP raccordé fonctionnellement à un capot définissant un compartiment isolant, un ventilateur conçu pour Injecter un flux d'air dans ledit échangeur de chaleur à base de MCP et un système pour réguler la température de l'air à l'intérieur du capot.
