PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glycation inhibitor which has an excellent glycation reaction inhibitive capacity, for suppressing the production of a final glycation product involved in various kinds of diseases and further for preventing the browning of food and drink, and which has high safety.SOLUTION: The glycation inhibitor comprises the astringent skin extract of a chestnut as an active constituent.
