PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image imaging apparatus that prevents incorrect detection of the start of irradiation with radiation when disturbance such as impact and vibration is applied thereto, and can accurately detect the start of irradiation with radiation when irradiated with radiation.SOLUTION: A radiation image imaging apparatus 1 is accommodated in a housing 2 while both ends of a sensor panel SP are held at inner parts on the side faces of the housing 2, and has a conductive layer 39 formed on a surface of a scintillator 34 on the opposite side of a surface where a scintillator 3 is formed, where the conductive layer 39 is electrically connected with a reference GND of electronic equipment 32.
