PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image capturing system where a radiology technician can accurately avoid emission of radiation to a radiation image capturing apparatus when the radiation image capturing apparatus erroneously detects start of emission of radiation even though radiation is not emitted.SOLUTION: A radiation image capturing system 50 includes: a radiation image capturing apparatus 1 which can detect the start of emission of radiation with the apparatus itself a radiation generating apparatus 55 which controls a radiation source 52 to emit radiation to the radiation image capturing apparatus 1 and notifying apparatuses 58 and 70 including notifying sections 58a and 71. When a control section of the radiation image capturing apparatus 1 detects the start of emission of radiation, the control section transmits to the notifying apparatuses 58 and 70 a detecting signal showing that the start of emission of radiation is detected.
