PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst type air purifying apparatus capable of effectively coping with various air distribution paths of different opening areas.

SOLUTION: In the photocatalyst type air purifying apparatus wherein a photocatalyst support member supporting a photocatalyst and a light emitting source for exciting the photocatalyst are disposed in the air distribution path where air is distributed, a photocatalyst unit 20 is disposed in the air distribution path 50. In the photocatalyst unit 20, a photocatalyst sheet 89 which is the photocatalyst support member and an ultraviolet lamp 88 which is the light emitting source are incorporated inside an outer frame member 21. The multiple photocatalyst units 20 are arranged side by side in a direction orthogonal to an air distribution direction in the air distribution path 50.
