PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for highly accurately measuring a physical quantity relating to a soil sample while maintaining a structure in a natural state. SOLUTION: A digital soil physical property measuring apparatus 1 includes: a control panel 3 for inputting items required for measurements; a display section 5 for displaying operation procedures and measuring results; a sample chamber 11 for placing a sample to be measured therein; and a control device 21, or the like. The control device 21 has real capacitance calculation means for calculating a sample capacitance within the sample chamber 11 on the basis of an air flow rate required for the sample chamber 11 to reach target pressure or on the basis of the amount of pressure change obtained in the case where air of a target flow rate is blown into the sample chamber 11.
