PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation part for an electronic endoscope, capable of securing water-tightness and assembling facility and also smoothly performing a rotary operation at all times by attaching an electric switch and a switch driving rotary body to an operation part frame, and arranging a rotation transmission member which is rotatably operated from the outer part of an operation part cover thereby rotating the switch driving rotary body, in the operation part cover while being separated from the operation part frame.
SOLUTION: The switch driving rotary body 12 arranged in the operation part frame 4 faces the rotary transmission member 20 arranged in the operation part cover 3. On one side of the facing parts, an engagement pin 13 is arranged, which is eccentrically positioned with respect to an axial line position and is projected toward the other side. On the other side of the facing parts, a thin and long engagement groove 21 with which the engagement pin 13 is freely slidably engaged, is arranged in a direction other than a circumferential direction with respect to an axial line. The rotary movement of the rotary transmission member 20 is transmitted to the switch driving rotary body 12 by the engagement of the engagement pin 13 with the engagement groove 21.
