FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology and device for cultivation citrus crops and certain limited species of plants mainly outside a zone of their natural growth. Method is based on assimilation of favorable properties from decomposition of rotted through or/and healthy parts of oak wood by root system of plants, placed in a vessel made of a trunk cut with rotted through core. Device includes a wooden vessel from a cut of a tree trunk of deciduous breed with leaving of bark or without it and the bottom attached or filled in with subsequent hardening by impregnation. Vessel is made from a tree of oak breed after optimal schedule of drying without cracks at the end faces with rotted through core, which left in a body of the lower part of the vessel to two thirds of its height so that it is a transient nutrient medium for roots of the limited varieties of plants. Upper outer circular surface of the healthy part of an oak trunk together with a cut of bark is covered with glue or hardening agents. Lower and upper external parts of the vessel on top are made with bondage rim.EFFECT: method and device allow to use efficiently overmature or damage with heart rot oak breeds of wood, and also with high productivity to grow citrus fruit trees and certain types of other plants on open garden and earth sections, in hothouse, greenhouse or house conditions with regular fructification.2 cl, 2 dwgИзобретения относятся к технологии и устройству для выращивания цитрусовых культур и некоторых ограниченных видов растений преимущественно вне зоны их естественного произрастания.
