The endoscope further includes a regulation wire (103) which regulates the bending of the bending portion (23) so that the second bending portion (23b) is bent in a direction opposite to the bending direction of the first bending portion (23a) and the bending portion (23) is bent in an S-shape when the first bending portion (23a) is bent.
