PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a drag operation member of a double bearing reel easily operable by fingertips of a hand holding a fishing rod, while keeping its weight and cost from increasing.SOLUTION: A drag operation member 3 is attached to a handle shaft freely rotationally supported against a reel body having a fishing rod attaching unit. The drag operation member 3 includes an attaching unit 54 and a plurality of operating units 56. The attaching unit 54 is rotatably attached to the handle shaft. The plurality of operating units 56 extend radially outwardly from the attaching unit 54 beyond the reel body on the fishing rod attaching unit side. The plurality of operating units 56 are arranged in a circumferentially spaced manner. Each of the plurality of operating units 56 has, at its tip 56b, a finger rest portion 56c so formed that when taken along a plane perpendicular to the handle shaft, an angle &alpha； is acute, in which the angle is formed between the end and a first straight line L1 connecting the axis X of the handle shaft to the outermost diameter portion 56e of the tip 56b.
