PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a drag operation member of a double bearing reel easily operable by fingertips of a hand holding a fishing rod, while keeping its weight and cost from increasing.SOLUTION: A drag operation member 3 is attached to a handle shaft freely rotationally supported against a reel body having a fishing rod attaching unit. The drag operation member 3 includes an attaching unit 54 and a plurality of operating units 56. The attaching unit 54 is rotatably attached to the handle shaft. The plurality of operating units 56 extend radially outwardly from the attaching unit 54 beyond the reel body on the fishing rod attaching unit side. The plurality of operating units 56 are arranged in a circumferentially spaced manner.
