PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a releasing device by which position holding and releasing near a rotary wheel are easily carried out and releasing of blocking of reaped cereal stems at an intersection X is comfortably carried out in good workability.SOLUTION: The releasing device is constituted by arranging a tension arm 102 having a fulcrum of turning on the outside of the intersection X and equipped with a movable roller 104 for winding the chain of a lower conveying device 31 and a releasing lever 103 equipped with a roller 112 abutting on the opposite side of the intersection of the tension arm 102 at the intersection X of lower conveying devices 30/31, pivoting one end of the releasing lever 103 at the frame of the lower conveying device 31 and bringing the other end to be fixed to the fulcrum of the turning of the tension arm 102. The center of turning of the movable roller 104, the center of turning of the roller 112 and the center of turning of the releasing lever 103 are arranged in almost the same straight line.
