PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article in which waist elastic bodies can be arranged so as to not substantially intersect with an absorbent core, without cutting or removing part of the waist elastic bodies.SOLUTION: The waist elastic bodies 28, 35 are arranged in a first waist area, which is either a front waist area 13 or a rear waist area 14, and have rear upper waist elastic bodies 28, 35 extending straight along the outer edge of the first waist area and lower waist elastic bodies 31, 37 positioned on the inner edge side of the first waist area 13.
