A solar-powered multifunction translational irrigation machine. Same comprises a power system (1), mother beams (2), a telescoping beam (20), water spraying apparatus (3), a mandrel apparatus (4), a pesticide spraying system (5), a reeling apparatus (6), guiding apparatus (7), driving wheels (8), universal balance wheels (92), a main beam (10), and traction beams (93). The power system (1) is arranged at the lower end of the main beam (10) and is connected to the driving wheels (8) arranged at two ends of the main beam (10). The two driving wheels (8) respectively are provided at the front ends thereof with the guiding apparatus (7). The mother beam (8) and the telescoping beam (20) are two parts, and hanged at the lower ends thereof are the water spraying apparatus (3), which respectively are hanged on two sides of the reeling apparatus (7) by the mandrel apparatus (4) and are of a multi-section telescoping-type. Arranged above the main beam (10) is the reeling apparatus (6), and arranged at the front end thereof is the pesticide spraying system (5). The universal balance wheels (92) are two sets equivalently arranged at the lower ends of the two sets of mother beams (2). The traction beams (93) are arranged on two sides of the main beam (10). The machine is overall a T-shaped structure, is of low costs and convenient to install, is capable of irrigating both flat lands of a large area and slopes inclined at about 15 degrees, requires only one well for about 1000 mu of land, and irrigates 4000 mu or more of land over 20 days per machine.
