PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial tissue or sheet which withstands graft surgical operations and is usable in real surgical operations and producible by cultivation and a new treatment technique serving an alternative to cell therapy.SOLUTION: The objective is to produce an artificial tissue which withstands a graft surgical operation, with cells originated from a part other than the cardiac muscle as the material, and is accomplished by the findings that systematization of an artificial tissue progresses unexpectedly by culturing cells under specified culture conditions and that the artificial tissue is easy to peel from a culture dish. Without use of scaffold, a sheet-like three-dimensional structure which is composed of myoblasts originated from a part other than the myocardial tissue constituting the heart of an adult and is applicable to a heart disease is provided.【課題】移植手術に耐え得る、実際の手術に使用可能な、培養によって生産され得る人工組織またはシートを提供すること。また、細胞治療に代わる新たな治療法を提供すること。【解決手段】特に、心筋以外の部分に由来する細胞を材料として移植手術に耐え得る人工組織を作製することを目的とする。上記課題は、一部、本発明において特定の培養条件によって細胞を培養することによって予想外に組織化が進展し、かつ、培養皿から剥離し易いという性質をもつ人工組織を見出したことによって達成された。本発明において、スキャフォルドを用いず、成体の心臓を構成する心筋組織以外の部分に由来する筋芽細胞からなる、心臓疾患に適用するためのシート状三次元構造体が提供される。【選択図】なし
