PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide skin external preparations or cosmetics that contain stably a C18-20 polyunsaturated fatty acid, and also have excellent temporal stability (no change in color or smell).SOLUTION: The present invention provides skin external preparations or cosmetics containing (a) a C18-20 polyunsaturated fatty acid, (b) at least one selected from vitamin E or a derivative thereof, and (c) a sterol compound having a polyoxyalkylene group.
