The present invention relates to a three-dimensional ultrasound imaging method for evaluating scoliosis. The three-dimensional ultrasound imaging method for detecting spinal deformities comprises thefollowing steps: S1, acquiring three-dimensional images of the spine by a three-dimensional ultrasonic imaging system; 2, obtain axial rotation information of that spine through the three-dimensionalimage of the spine; 3, adjust that three-dimensional image of the spine according to the axial rotation information of the spine; S4, projecting the adjusted three-dimensional image of the spine intoa coronal plane and/or a sagittal plane to obtain a projection diagram of the coronal plane and/or the sagittal plane; S5, the data of spinal deformations were calculated by projection of the coronalor sagittal plane. The invention obtains three-dimensional images through a three-dimensional ultrasonic imaging system, obtains rotation of a vertebral body in data of three-dimensional images through analyzing rotation information of each two-dimensional ultrasonic image and image information, and estimates rotation center of each two-dimensional image through statistical information of the vertebral column. This method can more accurately measure the deformation angle of spine in each plane.
