Řešení se týká nové pevné formy - kokrystalu N.sup.2.n.-acetyl-N-benzyl-D-homoserinamidu, lakosamidu, vzorce I s močovinou, přičemž poměr lakosamidu a močoviny je 1:1. Dalším řešením je způsob přípravy, přičemž N.sup.2.n.-acetyl-N-benzyl-D-homoserinamid a močovina se rozpustí ve vhodném rozpouštědle a požadovaný kokrystal vykrystalizuje ochlazením a/nebo odpařením rozpouštědla.In the present invention, there is disclosed a solid form of Ne2-acetyl-N-benzyl-D-homoserinamide (lacosamide) co-crystal of the general formula I with urea, whereby the ratio of the co-crystal and urea is 1:1. There is further disclosed a process for preparing the above-described co-crystal wherein the preparation process thereof is characterized in that Ne2-acetyl-N-benzyl-D-homoserinamide and urea are dissolved in a suitable solvent and the requires co-crystal is crystallized by cooling and/or evaporating the solvent. Disclosed is also the use of the co-crystal in the preparation of a medicamentous form.
